- FOR ESDIP BERLIN'S COURSES AND WORKSHOPS -

 1. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

Registration on 5-day workshops or shorter:

Participant is required to fill out the online registration and will be redirected to Paypal to confirm the payment of the complete course.

Registration on more than 5-day workshops or courses:

Participant is required to fill out the online registration form and confirm registration fee payment. Registration fee is a one-time payment that will secure your spot.

We use gocardless.com to make fast easy payments available for students from most of the countries of the Eurozone.

Paying tuition with GoCardless is safe, fast, and convenient. Follow the simple steps below to submit your payment:

When you register on the course you will be ask to select payment method. Choose Direct Debit and you will be redirected to gocardless.com

Enter your bank details.

You will received an invoice for your registration fee and be charged automatically. You will not be charged again until the course starts.

If your country of residence is not listed in GoCardless you can make your payment via Bank Transfer. Please note that all bank charges are your responsibility along with any charges related to the transfer of these funds.

In case any bank expenses are charged to ESDIP Berlin, you will be asked to pay the missing amount in cash upon arrival.

The availability of the place will be confirmed by ESDIP Berlin.

The reservation will be binding for both parties only if the advance payment of the registration fees has been made.

Monthly payment of the course must be done within the firs 5 days of the month once the course has started. In the case of a delay, ESDIP Berlin reserves the right to charge reminder costs in the amount of EUR 5,00.

Registration deadlines:

Registrations to ESDIP Berlin‘s courses and workshops ends when the course starts, or until all available spots are filled.

Please note that the class has a limited number of places that will be therefore assigned on a first come – first enrolled basis.

Payment settlement is a condition to admission into class and booking cannot be confirmed until payment has been received.

Nonattendance does not exempt a student from paying their contractual dues.

Before making your travel arrangements please make sure that your booking has been processed and the course is running.

2. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

- All classes are held in English, so you will be required to have a fluent understanding of the English language.

- Please read the course descriptions carefully before applying to a course. ESDIP Berlin will not take any responsibility for the students’ choice of a course level that is not suitable to their background and skills.

- Our courses are only for students that are 18 years old or older.

 3. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Cancellations by the students:

All cancellations must be made in writing.

Cancellation of 5-day workshops or shorter:

- Up to 7 days before the course starts: refund of 100%

Cancellation of more than 5-day workshops or courses:

- Cancellation up to 2 month before the course starts: refund of 100%

- Cancellation up to 1 month before the course starts: refund of 50%

After the course stars, no refunds will be given.

- In the event of termination of the contract as a result of a visa not being issued, the contract can be terminated by providing evidence of the refusal to grant a visa.

Cancellations by ESDIP Berlin:

ESDIP Berlin reserves the right to amend or cancel a course or workshop or change course location and dates. ESDIP Berlin‘s courses and workshops will only take place if a minimum of 5 students per course enrols. If ESDIP cancels a course, it shall attempt to give students at least one weeks’ notice for one or more months course, and two days for less than one month course, and students will have the option of transferring to another course, if available, or of having a full refund of the tuition fee. ESDIP will not be liable for any losses arising as a consequence of any modifications or cancellation of courses and workshops.

4. WITHDRAW THE COURSE

If the course has already started, the study contract can be terminated with a notice period of three months to the end of the semester. Withdrawal from the course must be made in writing indicating the reason for withdrawal.

5. FORCE MAJEURE

ESDIP shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance, in whole or part, of any of our obligations arising from or attributable to acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to strikes, lockouts or other industrial disputes compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulations or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, act of god, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, storm, pandemics, epidemics or other outbreaks of disease or infection, failure in the public supply of electricity, heating, lighting, air conditioning or telecommunications equipment.

 6. INFORMATION MATERIAL

ESDIP Berlin website and communication materials describe the courses and workshops run by ESDIP Berlin. Every care has been taken to ensure accuracy, however changes might have been introduced after publication, as it is the policy of ESDIP to constantly monitor its course offerings as well as the performance and content of individual courses. Whilst every attempt will be made to provide the courses and the service described, ESDIP reserves the right to make changes as appropriate for reasons of operational efficiency or due to unforeseen circumstances.

7. APPLICABLE LAW

The law applicable for any dispute regarding ESDIP courses and workshops is the German Law and the place of jurisdiction is Berlin.
